Here at Help Soccer Coach we are always happy to help with community projects and show how the power of football and sport can make a difference in people’s lives.
So it was with great pleasure earlier in the week that we were able to support the Community Welcome project by providing some football coaching fun here in Rugby to a group of refugees.
Community Welcome is an organisation helping forcibly displaced people find their place within the community. From providing essentials on arrival, language study groups, sporting projects and many more; their aim is Unity Through Community. They approached Help Soccer Coach to assist with the delivery of some football coaching and game sessions. And it is with great pleasure we have been able to get involved with this fabulous group of people here in Rugby. The smiles, high-fives and fist bumps make it all worthwhile. We had another amazing afternoon and will be back for more in the coming weeks, and are now also looking at providing similar sessions for refugee children. #football #community #communityprojects #unity #sportingprojects
