Help Soccer Coach have been given a further boost to their operations and activities courtesy of an official endorsement from a former England international and Premier League striker.
Darren Bent, who earned 13 caps for England and played in the Premier League for Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa, and and EFL Championship with Sunderland, Ipswich Town and Derby County has officially given his recommendation to the work of the team at Head Soccer Coach.
Over the past year Simon Mills, Lead Coach at Help Soccer Coach, has been working with one of Bent’s sons, Milan, with a series of 1-to-1 and small group coaching sessions. In addition to those sessions, Mills introducing him to playing for a local junior team and the youngster impressed so much that he has recently signing contract forms to join Coventry City FC’s Academy.
Speaking about the endorsement Bent, who is now a host and pundit on talkSPORT radio, said,
"Simon is a fantastic coach, not only with the sessions he delivers but also his after-care.
“The development [my son] Milan has showed since working with Simon in such a short space of time is incredible”.
Mills added
“We are thrilled to have received this shining endorsement from Darren which is further testament to the strides we continue to make with our coaching and community football programmes.
“It has been a pleasure to coach Milan and we can’t wait to see how he progresses and develops with Coventry City’s Academy next season.”
